Obituary for Susan Rawlings
Susan Kitt Rawlings of Kansas City went to meet the Lord Jesus Christ May 26, 2017. Susan was born on June 11, 1952 to Loma Hughes in Omaha, Nebraska. Susan was blessed with a giving spirit. (She graduated magna cum laude from Central Missouri State University.) She married her best friend, Brian Rawlings on December 15, 1979. Susan is survived by her husband, Brian, her mother, Loma Hughes, brother Gary TenEycke, sister Jane (Larry) Hunter, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. And stepchildren Cheryl (Doug) Weaver, Michael (Lori) Rawlings, Patrick (Michelle) Rawlings, many step grandchildren and one step great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Smith and Judy Hunter. Services are 11 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Winnwood Baptist Church, 4513 N Jackson Ave., KC, MO with a visitation from 9-11 AM. Memorial gifts may be sent to Faith Community Church, 3500 N Prather Rd., KC MO 64116 Favorite scriptures are Ps 119:105, and Joshua 24:15.
