Obituary for William "Randy" Miller
Dr. William Randolph Miller, 11/25/,44 - 2/7/25, “Randy” to those who knew him, passed at age 80. He proudly served his country in Vietnam as a Marine Corps. Capt. His passion was Tardigrades, which led him to earn a Doctorate in biology from University of New England in Australia. Randy loved mentoring and educating his students at Baker University. In his spare time Randy also enjoyed woodworking and photography. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judy Miller, and their children, Marine Col. Kolter Miller, Amber Miller, Amy Hinrichs and Byra Norman. In addition, they shared ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. also survived by his brother, Dr. Jeffery Miller and his wife Sandy Miller.
A celebration of life service we be 1:00 PM Saturday April 5, 2025 at Souder Family Funeral Home with a visitation from 12-1PM prior to the service. Military honors for Randy will follow on the lawn of the funeral home.
