Obituary for William Floyd McNeall
William “Bill”McNeall died peacefully in his sleep at his home just after midnight on Monday, May 18th. Bill was surrounded by friends and family in death much as he was in life. Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday May 21, 2015 at Liberty United Methodist Church, burial in Glenridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at Souder Family Funeral Home.
Bill was born December 21st, 1934 in Keytesville, Mo. He is survived by his wife, Patsy, his brother and his wife, Arlin “Dale” and Shirley McNeall, his three children and their spouses; Cynthia and Robert Schlueter, Rodney and Amy McNeall, and Kevin and Kristi McNeall, one step-daughter and husband, Vickie and Dean Cooper, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Bill was a long time member of Liberty United Methodist church as well as a proud “Hallmarker” of 34 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Helen Parrish McNeall. Perhaps most remarkably, Bill never knew a stranger.
