Obituary for Timothy L McCarthy
Timothy L. McCarthy, 53, passed away August 4, 2021. Tim was born on January 24, 1968 in Kansas City, MO to George and Eleanor McCarthy.
Tim married Caroline Hall on December 9, 1989 and they were married for 32 years. His priority was his family and friends. He was a kind and compassionate man.
Tim was a dedicated worker and worked for the Kansas City Star for 37 years. His hobbies include hanging out with his family and friends. He was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan. He loved collection sports memorabilia. Tim is survived by his wife, Caroline McCarthy; children, Carianne McCarthy (Chad), Keegan McCarthy, Madison McCarthy (Kenneth); granddaughter, Kennedy Marcinko; siblings, Brenda McCarthy-Ohlemeier (Doug), Catherine Eib (Ron) and their 3 children and 7 grandchildren, George McCarthy, Jr. and his 4 children and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents George McCarthy, Sr. and Eleanor McCarthy.
There will be a celebration of life service at a later date. The web page will be updated when the services are scheduled.
