Obituary for Stewart Melvin Grant
Stewart Grant, 74, passed away February 12, 2016 at NorthCare Hospice house surrounded by his loving family. Memorial visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Souder Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Amyloidosis Foundation or NorthCare Hospice House.

Stewart was born November 20, 1941 in Santa Monica, CA to Melvin B. Grant and Cecilia (Stewart) Grant and was raised in Casper, WY. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1959 to 1963 and was a Marine Embassy Guard in Turkey and Africa. His career was in Health Care Information Technology and retired from Carondelet, St Joseph Hospital as Chief Information Officer in 2006 after 40 years in the field. He enjoyed his family and some travel after his retirement. He was a member of the Marine Embassy Guard Association (MEGA) and held various offices on the Board, including Chairman for 2 years. His information technology background and love of the Marines and the Association were an invaluable asset provided to MEGA.

Stewart was preceded in death by his mother and father. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Grant and daughter, Laura Grant.
