Obituary for Rose Helen Florido
Rose Helen Florido, 83, passed away Friday January 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. The Mass of Christian Burial will 11AM Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church with a visitation from 10-11 AM prior to the Mass. Burial will be in Forest Hill Calvary Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
Rose Florido was a dedicated, mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and mentor to many. She always opened her door to anyone who needed a home. She will be missed by all who knew her. She had 83 fulfilled years and leaves a legacy of love that will remain with her family for generations to come.
Rose loved participating in her grandchildren's events, being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and cooking for her family, She enjoyed crocheting, doing word search games, novellas (soap operas), watching the Chiefs and Royals, and watching her husband play soccer when they were younger.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Aurelio and Ruth; brothers and sisters, Lupe Anaya, Beatrice Barela, Mary Ojeda, Rueben Conchola, David Conchola, and Elizabeth / Marsela Conchola. Survivor include her husband, Antonio Florido; daughters, Maria Pinon (Carlos), Sylvia Yocum (Robert), Lorena Waller (Tim), Angelique Florido-McCarthy, Anna Fabac; brother, Moses Conchola; grandchildren; Danielle Pinon, Maria Reynolds, Anna Marie Pinon. Michael Yocum, Barbara Yocum, Kristen Yocum. Amber Rodriguez, Jessica Riojas, Michelle Deardorff. Matthew McCarthy, Michaela McCarthy, Marisa McCarthy, Lauren Fabac, Joey Fabac, and Antonio Fabac. 15 great grandchildren and 1-great grandchild due this May, 2018
