Obituary for Philip Allan Wilson
Philip Allan Wilson, 67, of Gladstone, Mo. passed away on March 18 2016 at his home, surrounded by his girls, after a determined and courageous 11-year battle with cancer. Funeral Mass will be 10 AM Wed March 23 at St. James Catholic Church, burial in White Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday March 22 at the Church and the rosary will be recited at 5:30 PM
Phil was born on Nov. 4 in Chillicothe, Mo. He owned and operated Lawyer’s Assist Corporation for more than 30 years and was a senior investigator for the prosecutor in Clay County, Mo. for six years. Phil served on the board of directors and was chairman of the board for Gateway Energy Corporation from 2003 to 2006. He was also a chairman for the St. James School Foundation for 20 years. Phil was a loyal and avid Royals fan and season ticket holder for more than 30 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter Amanda. Phil is survived by children Margie (Sean) Comer; Stellajean; Claira; their mother, Michelle; and grandson Henry Comer. He is also survived by his parents, Ralph and Louise (Posch) Wilson of Chillicothe, Mo., as well as two brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Catholic Community Hospice in thanks for their compassion and care for Phil and the family during his final days.
