Obituary for Patrick Michael Flynn
Patrick Michael Flynn, 53, passed away Sunday May 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. The Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM Saturday June 5, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, the Mass will be live streamed for those that at unable to attend. It can be accessed at www.holyfamily.com. Burial with military honors Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, June 4, 2021 at Souder Family Funeral Home. At 7:30 there will be a small service for friends and family to share a few words about Patrick.
Patrick was born November 1, 1967 to Michael and Carol Flynn in Omaha, NE. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Persian Gulf. After serving in the military, Patrick worked for the United States Postal Service for 24 years. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, boating and riding ATV’s. He also enjoyed his music and movies. Patrick was a great friend and always had a good joke to tell. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family including his hunting dogs.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Carol Flynn. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Flynn; son, Casey Flynn; daughters, Katie Castillo and husband, Andrew, and Jessica Stevens; brothers, Matt Flynn and wife Mary and Mitch Flynn and wife Sara; many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
