Obituary for Patricia Kay Martens
Patricia Kay Martens, 75, passed away May 11, 2020 at liberty Hospital. Patricia was born March 9, 1945 in Olathe, KS. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Patricia loved her family above all else. She spent many years as a registered nurse, a career she both loved and excelled at. She was a strong, artistic and independent woman who was always up for an adventure or road trip. Her children and grandchildren have many memories of fun times with her. She was a special lady and will be forever missed by her family and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Mary Ellen Suddarth-Hodges; parents, John Dalrymple and Helen Greer; beloved sister, Joann Wiley; nieces, Connie and Karen Wiley.
Survivors include her son, Ron Martens, Milford, CT; daughter, Kim Hawthorne and her husband Dennis Hawthorne, Liberty, MO; grandson, Tim Hawthorne and his wife Katie, and her great grandson Harold, Blue Springs, MO; granddaughter, Hailey Hawthorne, Liberty, MO; brothers, John Dalrymple and Greg Greer; sisters, Mary Dalrymple and Kathy Smiley; along with her sister of her heart, Norine McCormack; plus many nieces, nephews and friends.
