Nana Lucille Hanna, 65, passes away peacefully Sunday March 19, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Nan was a fighter and fought one heck of a battle, but she was tired and now she is finally at rest. Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Friday March 24, 2023 at Souder Family Funeral Home with the visitation from 5-7 PM on Thursday evening. Burial follow the service will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice.
Nan had a passion for life she especially enjoyed her phone conversations and text messages, maybe gossiping a little. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan. Nan was all about getting her nails done, traveling especially the beach, Quick Trip pretzels, Sonic sprite zeros because of the ice, reality T.V., and her dog Royal. Over the last few years the times Nan was most happy was in the kitchen cooking and baking. Nans grandchildren were the one of the most important things in her life.
Nan was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Mary Pierce; brother, Alan Pierce; sisters, Linda Sue and Mary Anette Pierce. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Dennis Hanna; daughters, Mary Stock and her husband Brandon, and Kathryn Seeliger and her husband Carl; grandchildren Anthony Stock, Brittney Caskey, and Ashley Caskey; sister Ruth Dibben and her husband Jack; sister-in-law, Robin Pierce; and several nieces, nephews and many many friends.
It was one of Nans wishes that everyone wear either Chiefs or Royals attire to her services.
Please help celebrate the life of Nan by sharing a memory or expressing your condolences to the family.
