Obituary for Milo Gilbert Raub, III
Milo Gilbert Raub III, 78, passed away Friday May 31, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Milo and Edie married on March 16, 1962, and were married for 57 years. Milo was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen. Survivors include his wife, Edie of the home; Kathleen Carroll and husband Robert; brothers, Gary Hubbell, and David Hubbell; sister, Lena Locke; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Milo was a humble man of God and displayed the Fruits of the Spirit. He was a man of integrity and was very kind and generous. He was a faithful servant and served the church in various capacities. Milo had a heart for missions and loved Israel.
Milo was an Aeronautical Engineer. He retired from TWA after 31 years of service and continued as an Aeronautical Engineer Consultant after retirement. He was also involved in several historical aircraft restorations, including the Alpha aircraft on display in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
Milo had a great sense of humor and enjoyed many things in life. He enjoyed gardening, photography, art and classical guitar. The greatest love of his life was the Lord and his family. His life verse was Isaiah 40:31 “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
