Obituary for Michael W. Oswald
Michael W. Oswald, 52, Kansas City, MO passed away June 3, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. A Celebration of Life service will be 11 AM Thursday June 6, 2013 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church 9555 N. Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64155. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Michael W. Oswald Memorial Fund for his daughter's education at Community America Credit Union, 9310 N. Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64155.
Michael was born October 17, 1960 in Kansas City, MO. He is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; daughters, Andrea Oswald and Jordan Oswald both of the home; father, Milton; step-mother, Carol; and siblings.
Michael was a locomotive engineer for Norfolk Southern, prior to his railroad career he worked at the Kansas City Water Department. Michael was passionate about fishing and loved to play golf. His favorite vacation destination was Walt Disney World. Many memories were made in Florida with his family and friends at Walt Disney World.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Crossroads Hospice, especially Tanya and Amanda, who took such loving care of Michael.
