Obituary for Joseph Paul Sorisso, Jr.
Joseph Paul Sorisso, Jr., 74, Kansas City, Mo passed away September 23, 2013. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, September 27, 2013 at Souder Family Funeral Home with a visitation from 9-10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
Joseph was born April 13, 1939 in Kansas City, MO. He was US Marine and Kansas City, MO Firefighter for 33 years retiring in June of 1993. He worked at Hodge Park Golf Course as a Public Relations Specialist. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed car racing, airplanes, camping and gold mining. He loved traveling and Las Vegas and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Joseph was married to his first wife Rose Margo Sorisso for 49 years and to his second wife Margie Weber for 2 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Sorisso; father, Joseph Sorisso, Sr.; mother, Edna Sorisso; brother, Sal Sorisso. Survivor include his wife, Margie Weber; daughter, Angela Sorisso; son-in-law, Mark Roberts; grandson, Joe Mike Walters; great-granddaughter, Savanah Walters; granddaughter-in-law, Terri Comer; step-son, Lyle Olsen.
