Nava; her sisters by love: Shabrielle Law, Jasmine Burris, Shaunda Murphy, Ashley Dilworth- Bates, and Benndra Simington; and her co-parent/bestfriend/life partner Andre M. L. Hunter.
Jenna was born September 9, 1987, in Garden City, Ks. She spent her early childhood growing up in Kansas City, MO, but traveled often to Houston, TX, which she considered and often claimed as her second home. She graduated from Westport High School shortly after giving birth to her first born child, Amiya. Jenna's four amazing daughters were her pride and joy. In her free time, she enjoyed spending quality time with her daughters and close friends, listening to music and laughing. She could always light up any room with a glimpse of her beautiful smile. Family and friends described her best as having a loving, welcoming, yet free spirit (now more than ever), who pushed the boundaries placed upon her every chance she could. Although she has been taken away from us too soon, Jenna's love runs deep and can still be felt in this world through the countless wonderful memories shared with her. To truly know her was to love her, as many people did. This Nava Queen will forever be missed and absolutely never forgotten. Long live the Queen!
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
