Obituary for Cynthia Ann Johnson
Cynthia was born July 18, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN to Gerald Carlisle and Wilma Vaughn. For a large part of her life she was raised in the catholic church and Church of Christ during her teenage years. Cynthia passed away on December 8, 2021 in Kansas City, MO at North Kansas City Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
She was united in marriage to Gary Johnson on February 12, 1988 in Oklahoma City, OK. Together they had two daughters Ashli and Erin. Cynthia graduated Drury University with Magna Cum Laude honors and a bachelors in Psychology and a masters in Elementary Education. She worked as a Special Education Para at Camdenton High School along as a substitute teacher at Macks Creek and Buffalo Schools.
Cynthia is preceeded in death by her husband Gary, both parents Gerald and Wilma, and her sister Debra Carlisle. She is survived by her daughters Ashli Johnson(partner Kayla Murray) and Erin Ramilo(husband Steven), grandsons Colton Johnson and Ethan Hinton, granddaughters Leah Hinton, Adalynn Ramilo and Paislee Ramilo, brothers Jack Carlisle and family, Gerald Carlisle(wife Romy and daughters Kristina and Melissa), her lifelong friend Trish Alvis, along with many friends and family that love her and will miss her dearly.
