Obituary for Casper F. Winkler
Casper F. Winkler, 93, passed away February 4, 2017 at his home. Local funeral services will 4:30 PM Sunday February 5, 2017 at Souder Family Funeral Home with a visitation from 3-4:30 PM. There will be funeral services and burial in Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Westland, MI at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Community of Christ Church (Riverview Congregation), 14601 Pennsylvania Rd., Riverview, MI 48193.
Casper was born November 12, 1923 in New Boston, MI to Casper V. and Alma Winkler. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church (Highland Congregation.
Casper was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Wiseley. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Winkler; sons, Dennis Winkler, Gordon Winkler and wife Linda, and Wayne Winkler and wife Marilyn; daughter, Donna Lutes and husband John; brother, Vernon Winkler and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Lori Winkler, Melissa Ballantyne, Heidi Bader, Danielle Lutes, Marcus Lutes, Lauren Wiseley, and Allen Wiseley; and 7 great grandchildren.
