Cameron Alexander Evans-Barchers
2/4/2017 - 11/18/2023
Sensitive, passionate child who loved being naked as possible, taking two to four walks on summer days, visiting splash parks, playgrounds, and climbing up and down any stairs he could find. He thought furniture was for climbing on; blankets on the ground were for hanging out on. He could intuitively navigate YouTube to find all sorts of silly, fun, educational videos that his mom never would’ve seen otherwise.
He was highly observant and curious. He was a mama’s boy, and loved his family and being at home with all his favorite things. Cameron preferred nonverbal self-expression. His favorite characters and stories were full of inventive non-verbal storytelling: Angry Birds Toons, Bad Piggies, Minions, Rabbids, Sunny Bunnies, Om Nom Stories, Giligilis cartoons, and Tsum Tsum Shorts.
Cameron was preceded in death by his grandfathers and father. He is survived by his mom, older brother Henry, grandmothers, cousins, and many other extended family. He will be deeply missed and always loved.
Fingerprints by Tom Krause
Your fingerprints are on my heart.
Fingerprints that teach me about caring.
Fingerprints that teach me about love.
Fingerprints that teach me about courage.
Fingerprints that teach me about hope.
Fingerprints that bring me closer to my loved ones.
Fingerprints that bring me closer to myself.
In the time I cared for you my whole life changed -- never to be the same again.
All this from tiny fingerprints that touch my heart.
You will live in my heart forever -- never to be forgotten.
I will always love you.
You are my child.
