Obituary for Braylin Gene Russell
Braylin Gene Russell died unexpectedly in Kansas City, Missouri on June 28, 2019 at the age of 21.
Braylin is survived by his Mother Lisa Arhuire and her husband Josh, Father Ronald Russell, Sisters Bryanna and Rylie, Brothers Carson, Payton, Jradden and Jarrett, Maternal grandparents Alicia Primm and husband Bob, Scott Chambers, Paternal grandparents Dolores Smith and Husband Roy, Soulmate Makayla, and many aunts, uncles, and numerous loved ones. He is preceded in death by his Paternal grandfather Ronald Gene Russell, and Maternal Great grandfather George Evans.
Braylin was born on February 26, 1998 in Enid, Oklahoma where he lived until moving to Kansas City. He graduated from Winnetonka in 2016 where he enjoyed academics, rugby, drama and debate and participated in the Northland CAPS program. He then went on to serve the US Army as a Combat Engineer. After moving back to Kansas City, Braylin began working for Honeywell.
Braylin was a friend for anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on. He enjoyed target practice, cooking for others, traveling and exploring, as well as building and taking things apart. Helping others when they needed him was a huge priority in his life. He was very patriotic, as well as protective, passionate, and a loyal friend. He will be greatly missed.
A funeral is scheduled for 6PM on Wednesday, July 3rd at Souder Family Funeral Home 1333 NE Barry Rd Kansas City, MO 64155, with visitation preceding an hour before. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Braylin's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the funeral home.
