Obituary for Ashly Michele Razo
​Ashly Michele Razo, 23, left this world and joined our Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Born August 26,1992, in Kansas City, MO, Ashly shared an unforgettable smile and compassionate spirit with all whose lives she touched.
​Having made her parents so proud, Ashly leaves behind her loving parents, Dawn and Abe of Kansas City, MO, and four amazing brothers, twins Dakota and Cody, 14, Justin, 29, of Overland Park, KS, and Jacob, 30, of Long Island, New York. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mable Emily Razo, maternal great-grandmother, Mildred (Mimi) Elisabeth Greer, and paternal great-grandmother, Francis Razo. She is also survived by maternal grandparents Bunny and Jim Lowry of Kansas City, MO, Jim and Kari Deterding of Louisburg, KS, and paternal grandfather, Abe (Grandad) Razo, Sr. of Kansas City, MO, along with several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
​After graduating Liberty High School in 2011, Ashly attended Missouri Western State University. A short time later, Ashly met the love of her life, Marc Downs of Kansas City, MO. They shared a unique and passionate love for one another. Ashly is also survived by two special people, her best friend Taylor and son, Dayton of Smithville, MO, as well as many family friends, coworkers, and residents at the Gardens at Barry Road Assisted Living and Memory Care in Kansas City where Ashly shared her humble compassion and contagious smile with so many.
​Ashly Michele’s unique wit and spirited way will be missed. Until we meet again….
​Ashly will be celebrated Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 205 N. Forest Ave., Liberty, MO. 64068 at 12pm. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave., KCMO, 64131. A reception will follow immediately at the Kansas City Regional Police Academy, 6885 NE Pleasant Valley Road, Kansas City, MO 64119. Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm prior to celebration service at the church
