Obituary for Anna Mae Baker
Anna Mae Baker 90 passed away peacefully Thursday December 23, 2021.
She was born May 7, 1931 in Moberly, MO to William Michael And Syble Annabelle Genitz (Moyer).
Anna Mae graduated from Saint Mary’s Academy in Leavenworth Kansas with a degree in business. She and her family moved to Gladstone Missouri in 1963 where she began working at North Hills Bank. She saw 4 company changes all while working at the same branch location for 30 years. Anna Mae always had a softer side for animals; in her younger days she enjoyed horse races and dancing. After a well earned retirement she frequented the casinos and could be found playing bingo in her retirement community.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, infant twin daughters Jessica Kay and Gerry Lou Baker, Sister Rose Hicks, Brother Robert Egleston and great granddaughter Aubrey Rupard.
She is survived by daughters Sharon (Leroy) Raab of Kansas City, MO, Karen (Gary) Dimsdale of Pleasant Valley, MO and son Gerald ‘Tony’ (Theresa) Baker of Kansas City, MO Grandchildren; Wesley (Jessica Whiles) Raab, Danielle (Derrick) Hendrickson, Cassie (Derick) Rupard, Kari Rager; Great Grandchildren; Sheldon, Kasslyn, Axston, Lilly, Molly, Kaden, Liam & Samantha, Great Great Grandchildren Willow & Drift, Niece ThelmaAnn Limbaugh and nephews Richard Hicks & David Egleston.

Visitation Saturday January 8, 2022 10:30 am with memorial service following at 11am Souder Family Funeral Home 1333 NE Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64155.

Cremation / Burial will be at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Moberly MO at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in AnnaMae’s memory to KC Pet Project or Three Rivers Hospice, Platte City MO.
