Obituary for Roger Eugene Penn
Roger Penn, 69, passed away Friday January 12, 2018 at his home in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be 1 PM Friday January 19, 2018 at Souder Family Funeral Home, followed by military honors. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Derrick Johnson Defend the Dream Foundation and mailed to Marah Penn at 4080 Indian Creek Parkway, Overland Park, KS 66207.
Survivors include his children, Cody Henak (Liz) and Marah Penn (Justin), Michelle Penn and Moniqua Bronson; grandchildren, Oliver and August; and his children’s mother, Mona; several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was a veteran of the Vietnam War and loved his country. He loves his family more than anything. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and believed they were going to the Super Bowl every year, and would argue with anyone that would disagree with him. So the next time you cheer for the Chiefs, remember Roger.
