Obituary for Juliet McBroom Nite
Juliet McBroom Nite, 91 of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born December 19, 1926 in Chattanooga to the late Thomas Andrew & Mary Ida McBroom.
Mrs. Nite was a member of Concord Baptist Church and served many years alongside her late husband, the Rev. Dr. Ralph A. Nite, Sr. at Centropolis Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. She was an accomplished artist and beloved for her music and humor.
Her son, Ralph Nite, Jr. and sister, Peggy Jorges preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Andrew (Deborah) Nite of Ringgold, Georgia, James Timothy (Sue) Nite of Naples, Florida, George P. (Kathy) Nite of Charleston, Missouri, John David (Carol) Nite of Franklin, Tennessee, and Susan (Terry) Chasteen of Olathe, Kansas; sister, Martha Ramseur of Longview, Florida; twenty grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday January 4th at Souder Family Funeral Home with Juliet’s family officiating.
Mrs. Nite will be laid to rest with her husband at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas.
