Obituary for Beverly Ann Collette
Beverly Ann Collette (Marcotte) of Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday July 25, 2017, at Liberty MO Hospital. Beverly was born November 2, 1946 in Concordia, KS to Francis and Dorothy Marcotte. Left to celebrate her life and continue to be inspired by her is her husband Donald Collette, and their 3 daughters Cherie Scott (husband Michael), Jenee Collette, and Christal Widman (husband Todd) and their children Luke, Jake and Helyn, her brother Michael Marcotte, sisters Janice Hattan, Jeanette Deneault and Janell Goedert. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Theresa (McManigal/Spore). She has been a resident of Kansas City since 1997, previously Topeka, Manhattan, Salina, and Concordia Kansas. She had many varied work positions outside of the home but first and foremost was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother. Bev was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. The visitation will be at 12:30 followed by the funeral Mass at 1:30 and light snacks will be served immediately following the services Wednesday, August 2 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64155. Burial will be scheduled at a later date in Concordia, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The University of Iowa Foundation, Holden Cancer Center, PO Box 4550, Iowa City, Iowa 52244-4550
